Why do I have to be a member of Electrotank to chat?
At Electrotank we do our best to keep the chat rooms clean and fun place to be. By requiring user registration we can keep chat abusers from repeatedly offending everyone else.

How can I see all of the available chat rooms?
All chat rooms were created by Electrotank or by users themselves. In electroChat you can click on the Change Room button at the top to bring up a window that allows you to view the rooms. There is a drop down list of room categories. Choose a category and then view the list of rooms in that category. To join a room, click on the room and then click the "join" button. In any category you can toggle between User Rooms and Electrotank Rooms simply by clicking on the tabs.

Can I create my own room?
Yes! In electroChat click on the Create Room button found at the top of the screen. Enter a room name. The welcome message, password, and number of users allowed in the room, are all optional parameters.

How can I create or join a multiplayer game?
There are two ways to play a multiplayer game. You can create a game and have someone join it, or you can join a game that someone else has created.
To create a multiplayer game click on the "Create a Game" button found in a game chat page. This will bring up a pop-up window asking you to enter a game name. Enter a name and then click "OK" to create the game room. Now just wait for someone to join your game!
To join a multiplayer game you must first login to the chat on the individual game page. If there is an "open" game waiting for a user to join, simply click on that icon. You will see a pop-up window where you can verify that you want to join that game. If the game is password protected then you will be asked to enter a password.

Can I turn off the sound?
Yes you can. In electroChat, click the Options button. A pop-up window will appear. Click "off" under the Sound option.

How can I find the multiplayer games?
While in electroChat you will see a list of multiplayer game icons at the bottom of the window. Simply click on one of them to go to that game! Alternatively, click on the Games link in the site navigation to view the entire list of games.

How do I report a chat bug?
Click on the Support link found on the bottom of any Electrotank web page and then click on the Contact Electrotank for Support link. Fill out the form and send it!
