Simple logging question re: BasePlugin

So what's the status on your ES5? Does it start successfully now, and does the logging line show for your server level plugin?

edit: I'm wondering if the reason you couldn't add the server level component using ES Admin is a permissions issue. Perhaps you need to start ES5 using sudo too?

OK yes, if I start as
sudo ./Start_ElectroServer_5_3_2_SAFEMODE
Then I can add the server level component as described using es3Admin

So I guess was forgetting the cardinal rule "always run es5 as root".

ES5 doesn't need to run as root, however it does need to run as somebody who has full permissions on the server directory and all subdirectories. So you either run using the same account that you used to install ES5, or you set the file permissions on the server directory (recursively) so that other people can use it.
