    Payment Questions

    Hello,

My project is nearly completion and I will be looking to purchase here within a few weeks if all goes ok. I am looking at 100 user license to start for $599.

Just to verify to upgrade later to the 500 user license lets say the next couple of days after for $899 so I just pay that $300 difference?

Also what is the turn around time lets say if I placed an order today for that 100 user license when is the best and worst case scenarios of when I would receive that license.

What would be the turn around time lets say if I already have the 100 user license and I place an order today for the 500 user license. Also best and worst case scenarios again.

I am looking to start another project on another website of mine as well that will be using Electro-Server. Will I have to purchase a new license for that server that it is on since both projects are on different servers. Is there any discounts for multiple ES license owners .

My second to last question is if you come out with newer versions of Electroserver lets say 3.7.4 would I get that upgrade for free and would my license work for that? What about if you came out with like a 4.0.0 type of thing, woudl I get that upgrade for free?

My last one is are liscense good for life?

Thanks for your all your responses I know theres alot of questions here lol.

    Xiosen,

    1) Yes, you just pay the difference on upgrade.
    2) When you purchase an ES license we send you the license file as soon as two conditions are met: 1) payment goes through (which is usually immediate) and 2) you send us the IP address or domain to bind it to.
    3) When you upgrade you will get the license file within a few hours. We just have to manually create it, which is fast, but we have to be in the office.
    4) Licenses are good per ip or per domain. You can run multiple sites off of one license as long as ES is just running on one domain or IP. If you need to install on an additional IP or domain for some reason, then this is an additional license cost.
    5) The ES 4 update will not happen in the next several months. If you purchase ES 3 within a short time of ES 4 coming out, then upgrade is free. But we are not close to that at this point. There will be an upgrade fee otherwise, but that price has not yet been considered.
    6) Licenses never expire.

Thank you for your quick response Jobe,

Can you tell me what the additional cost for adding another ip or domain would be?

I guess I would have 2 projects on 2 different IPs and domains so I assume that is what your talking about when I would have to pay an additional license cost.

Everything else sounds great again thank you for making such a great product

    Xiosen,

An additional license is treated 100% as a new license -- so full cost. Kind of like if you were buying a 2nd copy of Windox XP for a 2nd machine, or a 2nd copy of SQL Server.

    Ah I see,

well what options do you think I have if I have 2 projects on 2 different servers and IPs, is buying another new license the only option?

    Hi Xiosen,

Yeah... i guess that woud be the case. At any rate, you can upgrade to an unlimited license and have it on one monstrous server, and let it host all your games.
