You seem to have tons of very basic questions, which is fine...you have to start somewhere. But you can get a lot of your questions answer more quickly and easily by going through some example files and reading some of the tutorials/articles on our site.

Now to answer your question: Plugins are extra pieces of code that are used by ElectroServer. They can be written in ActionScript or Java. They can communicate with ElectroServer by using the PluginAPI. The ElectroServer class is for the client SWF files to communicate with ElectroServer.
