I installed the rpm on my linux server. It installed fine. Started ES with the 'StartElectroServer', says "ElectroServer is configured and running properly". Changed the IP in the TTT Game, attempted Tic Tac Toe and got an error "Was not able to connect to server" Tried the 'nohup' in the post http://www.electro-server.com/forum/?f=2&m=502 Still no luck.

We get this problem more then any other. It's simply a matter of getting the IP and port in the chat server configuration to match up with the IP and port in the game. Then you should be able to connect, assuming there arn't any firewalls in the way. The easiest way to prove this out is to start the server on the linux side but leave your terminal window open, then run the swf file directly on your computer. You should be able to connect at that point. Let us know how it goes.

Yes. It works directly off of my computer! My ChatServer IP and Port (in the configuration.xml file) match the TTT game's IP and Port settings. What do I need to change? Thanks-

I'm confused, you say it works off your computer. Are you talking about from your computer to your linux server or what?

Yes, from my desktop to the linux server.

Try your domain name in the swf config file not your IP address

Yup. That did it. Thanks. I noticed in forum # '1025' chat server start/stop/restart was added. Where is the documentation on that located?
