We have just purchased your product of electroServer 3. We want to expand security issues on server side java plugins. However we can’t find out any way to do that. I have some questions for you if you may answer.

1- I see plugins folder, there is a LoginEventHandlerExample.java and as I understand that I need to write my expantion in this java class is it correct?

2- What do I need to change in the configuration.xml file?

If the path I am following is wrong, may you show me the way to do that step by step ?
:smurf:

Kindly regards.

I've attempted to reply to you in an email directly via your Simgolo address. Did you get my message?

To answer your question, the login event handler example contains the XML you need to put in your configuration.xml file.

Also, if possible, we would recomend you switch to ElectroServer 4 as it provides many more security features and options. Thanks!

I just finished writing a wiki article on the LoginEventHandler example (http://www.es-wiki.com/index.php?title=LoginEventHandler_Example). If this doesn't answer your questions, please let me know more specific details that you need, so I can (1) help you better, and (2) improve the article.
