Adobe has named the Electrotank Universe Platform Tool Suite a 2010
Electrotank Universe Platform (EUP) has created a new high-speed rendering engine to give developers even more power and flexibility in creating large-scale immersive multiplayer worlds. The new rendering engine speeds up page loading by automatically drawing a conceptual bubble around avatars and notifying any entity or system of activity within the bubble — but excluding information from outside the bubble. The result is that only the assets and avatars that are closest to the player will be loaded at any one time, so users can enjoy fast and smoothly rendered animations in large scrolling areas with high frame rates.
