Server Monitoring Screen |
|
In the Server Monitoring screen, you have access to more detailed, yet still high-level information about the ES5 instance to which you are currently connected such as server logs, reports, a list of all current zones and rooms and server up-time just to name a few. You can also send a message to all of the users currently connected to the server.
Status
The Status screen is an easy way to get an instant overview of the server: CPU usage, up time, memory usage, number of users currently online, etc. This screen can be used to send a message to the entire server, which is useful if you need to warn users that the server will be going down soon for scheduled maintenance.
To send a message to the entire server, enter the text of the message in the box and click Send. This text will be sent as a PrivateMessageEvent from null to every user on the server. Clients would need to be listening for the PrivateMessageEvent.

Zones & Rooms
The Zones & Rooms screen gives a list of currently used zones, rooms in each zone, and users in each room.
Reporting
The Reporting screen has a variety of graphical reports that can be generated, based on server statistics since ES5 was installed. Choose the graph then the time period for the report.
Logs
The Logs screen allows you to see the most recent lines of any textfile in the server's log directory. Normally you will click on ElectroServer5.log to view the most recent lines of the most recent log. When monitoring a live ES5, just click the Refresh button to get an updated log.
