The Two Most Common Issues
Issue 1
This error is seen when launching the game: "The MGS.EXE file is linked to missing export DDRAW.DLL:DirectDrawCreateEx"
The solution is to install the latest version of DirectX (8.1 or higher) from here. Once that is done you may need to reboot the computer but the game should work.

Issue 2
This error is seen: "ERROR LOADING EMBEDDED FILE DIRECTORY"
This is a problem seen on Asian versions of Windows. Unfortunately there is no current solution to this issue. We may resolve this in the future.
